Your Key responsibilities:Coordinate and maintain the Queensland Health chemical management governance and assurance functions providing subject matter expert advice and guidance on chemical risk management, approval processes, incompatibility reports, manifest management, safe operating procedures and purchasing.Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for system users, including chemical/hazardous substances risk management, monitoring system utilisation, data quality and consistency.Contribute to enterprise risk reporting and provide high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence on chemical management activities, compliance, and risks to relevant stakeholders, as required.Role fitThe essential requirements for this role are:Strong knowledge of chemical safety, hazardous substances, or dangerous goods (or demonstrated ability to quickly develop this knowledge).Demonstrated experience supporting an information system, database, or asset/inventory management platform.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and validate complex data sets.Why work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
