About the Role
We are looking for a hands‐on leader to oversee and drive the success of our multi‐unit residential projects. As our Construction Manager, you will be the bridge between project vision and on‐site execution. You will manage the full life cycle of construction, ensuring that safety, quality, and timelines are never compromised.
You'll be joining a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly shape the skylines of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This is a senior leadership role with genuine autonomy to run your projects and build your team.
You will be responsible for delivering 96-unit townhouse developments in Griffin, North Brisbane—major projects that will form the centrepiece of your portfolio for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Oversee all on‐site and off‐site construction activities, managing multiple townhouse projects simultaneously from inception to handover.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and manage detailed construction programs, ensuring project milestones are met or exceeded.
* Cost & Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, manage expenditure, and work closely with the pre‐construction team to ensure financial targets are achieved without compromising quality.
* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure every detail meets our high standards.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage site teams, including Site Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
* Stakeholder Management: Liaise with consultant architects and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is compliant with building codes, WHS regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a seasoned professional with a passion for residential construction. You will bring:
* Industry Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in residential construction, with a strong background in townhouses or multi‐dwelling residential projects.
* Project Scale: Proven experience successfully managing a multi‐unit residential project of a similar scale (35+ units). This is a non‐negotiable requirement.
* Technical Knowledge: In‐depth knowledge of construction means, methods, and current Australian building codes and standards.
* Commercial Acumen: Strong financial literacy with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive teams and build strong relationships.
* Software Proficiency: Competency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Onsite Companion) is highly regarded.
Licensing:
Must hold a valid QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (Open Licence preferred) or be able to obtain immediately.

Construction White Card.
Educational Requirements: A minimum trade certificate qualification is required.
Licensing Timeframe: Applicants must obtain the QBCC Site Supervisor Licence within 3 months if not currently held.
