**Your new company** is a well known business in the Manufacturing space seeking a stand-alone Payroll specialist to join the wider team on Permanent basis.
**Your new role** will include but will not be limited to:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes of all local employees, including payroll administration, timekeeping, and employee benefits using outsourced payroll vendor system and Realtime time and attendance system
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of Fortnightly and Monthly payroll, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure accurate timesheet processing of manufacturing site employees who are on different rotating roster, overtime and leave loading calculation depending on shifts and respective award for manufacturing industry
- Maintain payroll records, handle employee inquiries, and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies
- Ability to interpret complex EBA's & Awards to interpret different pay rules and structures
- Lodge and pay payroll tax, handle and prepare work cover payments and renewals
- Calculating and processing employee leave entitlements, superannuation, redundancies, and terminations
- Handle Novated Lease payments by liaising with third party
- Prepare and lodge the annual reconciliation for payroll tax by state for all entities
- Prepare and submit to the ATO the Employee Share Scheme Reporting (ESS)
- Prepare ABS and WGEA reports
- Provide payroll data to auditors for the annual statutory audit
- Monthly tasks
- Prepare month end reports for higher management team like Headcount, Leave Liability, absentee report, overtime labour cost, hours worked for budgeting and cost purpose, bonus accruals etc
- Assist overseas Finance team with month end journals and queries
- Assist in preparing ad hoc journals to correct discrepancies found in reconciliation
**What you'll need to succeed**
Similar experience in a stand-alone and hands-on position would be preferable. Knowledge of ADP would be an advantage but not a must.
