Mergent Group is working with a leading communications technology integrator to find Data Comms Technicians and Electricians (preferably with FIFO experience) to join our team to assist in a major long term expansion project at Roxy Downs.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Data Comms Wi-Fi networks, CCTV systems, Fibre infrastructure, Access Control solutions and in room AV systems to ensure secure and reliable site connectivity.
About the role:
* FIFO ex Adelaide
* 8/6 roster, 12 hour shifts
* $60 - $70 per hour
* Camp accommodation provided
* Start ASAP until end 2026 with plenty of future work in the pipeline
You will be responsible for:
* Working successfully within teams across data and communications projects and integration works.
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with supervisors and project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Participating in site safety inspections, pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
Tickets and Licences you will need:
* Trade Qualification/Licence
* Construction Industry White Card
* Drivers Licence
* Security Licence (preferred but not essential)
* LVR/CPR Certificate
* Working at Heights
* EWP ticket
* Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology
