Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

* Level 5 | Salary: $90,690 - $96,605*, plussuperannuation*

The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a diligent and enthusiasticEngineering Technical Officer to join the City's StrategicAsset Management team on a full-time bass (12 month Contract).

As an Engineering Technical Officer – Asset Data, you willbe responsible for implementing asset management best practicesthrough efficient and accurate management of asset, you will play an important role in contributing tothe overall effective operation of the Strategic Asset Managementteam by undertaking quality and integrity improvements to asset andspatial data, assisting in the development of data models tooptimise reporting and analytics, working with asset custodiansfrom across the organisation, and conducting site visits,investigations and field inspections to maintain the quality ofasset data in liaison with internal and external teams.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An advanced diploma in a relevant discipline, orsignificant experience in Strategic Asset Management
* Current unrestricted C class national driver'slicence
* Experience in completing asset data management, asset dataaudits and entering as-constructed plans into an assetmanagement system
* Experience in the design, construction, maintenance andinspection of infrastructure assets
* Experience in the use of database systems and advancedasset management software
* Degree in Civil Engineering (desirable)
* Qualifications or significant experience working in spatialscience or GIS environments (desirable)
