Business Development Manager – North Queensland
Ruswin is a well-established and rapidly growing Queensland-based security company specialising in commercial locksmithing and electronic security systems. We deliver integrated solutions including Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Data Cabling, Networks and Audio-Visual systems across commercial, industrial and government sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Townsville team to service the North Queensland region.
About the Role
This is a key growth position focused on generating new business, growing existing customers and expanding market presence. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic relationships and drive revenue while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
* Generating new business across commercial, industrial and government sectors
* Collaborate with key team members and strategic partners to develop sales and marketing initiatives
* Identifying and pursuing new markets and target clients
* Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
* Preparing tenders, proposals, quotes and client presentations
* Negotiating and securing contracts
* Conducting site visits and client meetings
* Building long-term client and partner relationships
* Identifying cross-selling opportunities across locksmith and electronic security services
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in business development or sales (security industry highly regarded)
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Strong understanding of the commercial security market
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* Experience preparing tenders and detailed proposals
* Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
* Willingness to travel as required
* Full working rights in Australia
* Must hold or be able to attain a Security Provider License (Security Adviser) under the Office of Fair Trade – Queensland
