Senior Tax Training Specialist
Lead the development and delivery of technical training programs for a major accounting firm's tax team, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and skills align with client needs.
About This Role
A key opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Training Specialist to join our collaborative tax team. In this newly created role, you will report to the National Tax Quality and Excellence Lead Partner to oversee, manage, and participate in creating, delivering, and continuously optimising technical training content nationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate delivery of timely and relevant training programs with senior leaders and subject matter experts across tax service lines and Learning and Development.
* Work closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to identify, create, and deliver tax technical thought leadership materials to internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage national technical training schedules, budgets, and expense tracking, ensuring training is effectively delivered and received by relevant stakeholders.
* Curate and manage a knowledge library to provide easy access to contemporary training tools for tax team members.
* Lead national training projects as required, preparing project reports and status updates.
Requirements
* A qualified Chartered Accountant with significant client-facing tax experience (over 5 years postgraduate experience) and working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime.
* Experience or demonstrated interest in managing a holistic technical development program.
* Ability to critically analyse technical materials and conduct gap analyses to align with technical competencies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with key stakeholders on training needs.
