We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator (predominantly Front-End Loader), to join our processing team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, multi-skilled team and make a valuable contribution to our operation, 130km from Mt Isa.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Processing Supervisor you will operate loaders and other machines involved in material and product handling throughout our phosphate production operation. You will be required to assist team members with manual handling, minor maintenance, cleaning of spillages, hosing of work areas and learning different areas of process operations.
* Manage the material movements to feed Processing plant.
* Carry out material movements in stacking of wet concentrate.
* Lay out material for dry pad operations.
* Operate machinery to harvest dry material.
* Maintain concentrate and dry pad area's roads and stockpiles.
* Moisture testing of material, collecting samples, liaising with laboratory.
* Load product trucks and liaise with cartage contractor drivers.
* Manage the material movements of ROM and Crusher Feed as required.
* Maintain ROM area's roads and stockpiles as required.
* Identify, report and act on all hazards whilst complying with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
* Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of all mobile equipment and infrastructure.
You'll bring
* Nationally accredited RIIMP0403E Conduct Wheel Loader Operations and proven proficiency in operation.
* Confident operation of radio for positive communications.
* Other mobile machinery experience and RII's such as Skid Steer, Telehandler, EWP, Backhoe, Bobcat, Dozer, Tractor.
* Drivers' license (preferably "HR").
* Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications.
* Experience and comfortable working in remote location on FIFO or DIDO roster.

8/6 roster – FIFO from Townsville, Cairns, or Brisbane or DIDO from Mount Isa to our small village in Dajarra.
