Ready to inspire and support students in developing their technical and creative skills across several key digital design areas?
Are you proficient in one or more of the following areas?
**_Graphic Design - _**Teach students foundational and advanced techniques, including creating graphics for digital and print media, branding and identity design, packaging concepts, typography and layout, and composition and colour theory.
**_3D Game Design - _**Guide students through the essentials of game design and 3D production, covering 3D modelling and asset creation, photo manipulation, 2D graphics for game interfaces, game development using Unreal Engine, level design, environment creation, and integrating animation and effects into gameplay.
**_Creative Digital Media -_** Help students develop versatile digital design skills, including video production and editing, web design focusing on user experience (UX), interactive media design, and social media content creation.
**_Photography - _**Share your knowledge and experience in photography, photo editing, and technical skills in lighting and studio setup.
**Skills & attributes for success in this role**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or equivalent
- Industry qualifications to enable you to teach across Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts, Certificate III in Screen and Media, Certificate III in Design Fundamentals, Diploma in Graphic Design and Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design
- Current knowledge, relevant skills and industry experience including:
- Digital design software programs from Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premier, Acrobat, Blender and Dream Weaver
- Sound understanding of intellectual property rights and Copyright
- Well-developed knowledge of design
- A focus on the use of good design to enhance both aesthetic consideration
**Employment opportunity**
Part Time (hours dependent on classes that can be covered)
**Salary**
Teacher L1.1 to L1.2 (AQF4) $78,546 to $83,429 p.a. (pro rata)
Teacher L2.1 to L2.3 (AQF5) $85,169 to $93,961 p.a. (pro rata)
Teacher L3.1 to L3.4 (AQF6+) $99,983 to $111,391 p.a. (pro rata)
- Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate._
