We are seeking an experienced Superintendent Geology to lead the delivery of geology activities at site and provide strong technical leadership across our function.
This role is suited to a proven underground geologist who brings both strong technical capability and leadership experience, with the ability to drive high standards across grade control, geological modelling, and drilling execution.
Reporting to the Manager Geology, you will lead a team of Senior Geologists and Technicians, ensuring the geology function is coordinated, forward‐looking, and consistently delivering high‐quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead geology activities across short to medium‐term horizons
* Provide technical leadership across grade control, mapping, and geological interpretation
* Ensure high standards in geological data collection, QA/QC, and database integrity
* Oversee and contribute to geological modelling, including wireframing and interpretation
* Support Mineral Resource Estimation processes through high‐quality data, interpretation, and model inputs
* Plan and execute drilling programs aligned with site priorities
* Lead and develop a team of Senior Geologists and Technicians
* Work closely with mining and technical services to manage grade and geological risk
About You
* Extensive experience in underground metalliferous mining
* Proven leadership experience within a geology function
* Strong technical capability in ore control, geological interpretation, and modelling
* Demonstrated experience with Vulcan and Leapfrog
* Practical experience in wireframing and Mineral Resource Estimation support
* Strong understanding of QA/QC, sampling, and data management
* Ability to operate effectively across both operational delivery and forward planning
