Our mining services client based near the Perth Airport has engaged us to source an experienced Office Administrator/Project Administrator to assist in their upcoming resource industry-based project. This role requires an individual who is both autonomous and service oriented. They must possess a comprehensive understanding of all business administrational functions and be capable of providing administrational support, both high and low level throughout the company.
**Duties**
- Assist in the setting-up and onboarding of new employees where required.
- Assist in the administration of setting up new suppliers, meetings and maintaining an organised filing system of documents.
- Carry out printing, photocopying, scanning, collating, binding and other general office administration tasks as required.
- Ensure the department has sufficient stationery, and that the printers and associated equipment is fully stocked daily.
- Manage all travel, including vehicle hire, for the department staff and where required contractors in line with the travel policy, ensuring delivery of seamless travel itineraries.
- Administration assistance to several departments including training administration, HSEQT, procurement and executive management teams.
- Booking Pre-employment medicals & sending results
- Random DAS test admin
- Arranging Audio tests & submission of paperwork
- Employee awards admin - ordering/packing/shipping
- Invoice coding/purchase orders/new vendor setups
- Employee awards admin - ordering/packing/shipping
- LMS data entry
**Skills & Experience**
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong initiative and excellent organisation skills.
- A friendly and collaborative team approach.
- Ability to be agile in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- Current drivers license desirable
- Computer literacy (Lotus Notes, MyOsh LMS, ADP Payroll experience would be amazing but not a requirement)
