**Caravan Park Manager**
We are seeking to fill our vacant Caravan Park Manager position at the Glen Villa Resort. The Caravan Park Manager will work on site (resort located at 80-86 Butler Street, Byron Bay NSW 2481), and lead a team of 7 office staff and up to 5 maintenance and cleaning staff to organise & control the operations of our caravan park and camping grounds to provide accommodation & leisure services.
The Caravan Park Manager is required to work a 5-day week commencing Thursday through to Monday, with evening work on Fridays and Saturdays up to 8pm to cover our busiest times. In addition, the Caravan Park Manager will be required to work some public holidays including Easter and Christmas in line with our peak festival and holiday seasons.
The primary focus of the role is to manage the day to day operations of the business, duties include but not limited to;
- Managing and supervising Front Office/Reception, Cleaning and Maintenance departments, managing staff rosters
- Taking reservations, registering guests, assigning accommodation, and collecting payments
- Advising guests about local sights and activities
- Guest check in and check out, customer service, handling complaints, ensuring safety and other local and state compliance, monitoring security of guests, residents and staff
- Financial operations such as invoicing and accounts, tariff forecasting, daily banking and reconciliation
- Arranging cleaning and maintenance of caravans, cabins, amenities blocks, recreation facilities and grounds
- Informing guests of local tourist attractions and recreational facilities
- Attending to complaints lodged by customers
- Liaising with local government to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ordinances
- May sign, supervise and enforce terms of tenancy agreements in accordance with legislation and may obtain enforcement orders where tenants are in breach of requirements
**Skills & experience required**:
- Excellent written and spoken English. Since we are a popular international tourist destination over 25% of our guests are from overseas in particular Europe so being multilingual and fluent in Spanish, German, Dutch or French would be desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- High attention to detail and customer service with excellent organisational skills, ability to meet competing or tight deadlines
- High standard of personal presentation
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
- At least 2 (two) years Full Time experience of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
**Renumeration**:
This is a Full Time position and includes full time 38 hours per week. These hours are made up of and include out of hours, weekend and holiday shifts and the position is paying an annual salary of $55,000
**Salary**: $55,000.00 per year
