We're Hiring: Designer/Drafter Mechanical/Structural Engineer
MMT Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Mechanical/Structural Engineer or a Structural Designer / Drafter to support the design, fabrication and installation of heavy industrial plant and materials handling equipment. Experience working in one or more of the following is a must; mining, ports, quaries, recycling industries.
This role suits a technically strong drafter who enjoys hands-on engineering work, producing shop-ready drawings, collaborating with engineers, and spending time both in the office and on-site.

What You'll Do
Design and analyze mechanical and structural systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Review designs for compliance with industry standards
Provide support during manufacturing phases of projects
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
Minimum 2 Years Of Relevant Work Experience
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with Australian engineering standards is a plus
