An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Oxy Cutter to join our team at our Wingfield Yard.
Responsibilities Will Include
* Perform oxy cutting operations on various types of scrap metal.
* Downsize scrap metal to export standards.
* Operate and maintain cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
* Inspect and troubleshoot equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
To Be Successful You Will Have
* Proven experience as a Scrap Metal Oxy Cutter.
* Proficiency in oxy-fuel cutting techniques and equipment.
* Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
* Knowledge of scrap metal export standards.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
* Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
