**Overview**

Join our dedicated team at Riverland General Hospital as an Administration Officer in our Consulting Suite. We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to provide high-quality administrative support to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to client enquiries in person and over the phone, offering relevant advice and directing queries appropriately.
- Coordinate appointment bookings for services provided by Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.
- Welcome visitors professionally and ensure they are directed to the right person.
- Assist with sorting, processing, and distributing both electronic and hard copy correspondence.

Essential Requirements:

- **Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and staff.
- **Team Player**: Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- **Initiative**: Ability to work independently, managing tasks with strong organisational skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proactive in identifying issues and reporting them to management.
- **Computer Proficiency**: High level of competency in Microsoft Office and office administration processes.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Experience with Medical Records in a healthcare setting.
- Medical Terminology Certificate.
