Our client is a family-owned aggregation of cattle stations along the Pilbara Coastal region, surrounding Port Hedland, WA, running Brahman and Brahman-cross cattle with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and a supportive team environment. The role reports to the Station Manager and is ideal for experienced truck drivers with livestock experience who thrive in remote locations, value safety, and enjoy working as part of a team. Based near Port Hedland, this position offers a remote yet rewarding lifestyle with opportunities for career growth, starting in the 2026 cattle season with flexible commencement depending on availability.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Safely drive and deliver cattle, feed, and equipment across stations and to market.
* Load and unload livestock and freight, maintaining low-stress handling practices.
* Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, report issues promptly, and follow daily route instructions.
* Support station and muster crews with general duties, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
Selection Criteria
* Valid MC truck licence with prior livestock transport experience.
* Competent in low-stress handling of cattle and capable of long hours in remote conditions.
* Self-managing, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Willingness to commit to flexible hours and seasonal or year-round work.
