Campus Manager / Director of Nursing
to lead services at
Casterton Memorial Hospital
in Victoria's South West.

About the Role
The
Campus Manager / Director of Nursing
provides strategic and operational leadership across acute and aged care services at the campus level.
Key responsibilities include:
* Oversight of clinical governance, safety, quality, and risk management
* Workforce leadership, including capability development, performance management, and professional development
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and accreditation requirements
* Leading multidisciplinary clinical and support teams
* Driving service improvement, operational excellence, and person-centred care
* Building strong partnerships with consumers, families, and community providers
You will balance operational delivery with strategic leadership, fostering a positive, values-based culture aligned with WDHS values.
What You Bring
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration
* Postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in health management, business, public health, quality & risk, aged care, or a related field
* Demonstrated senior clinical and operational leadership experience at Director or equivalent level
* Proven experience in governance, compliance, and regulated healthcare environments
* Strong capability in leading multidisciplinary teams across complex care settings
* Experience working within rural or regional health services will be highly regarded
Classification & Employment Conditions
This position is classified under the
Nurses & Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) Single Interest Employer Agreement 2024–2028
, at a senior nurse management classification level, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Final classification and salary will be determined in accordance with the EBA and the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
