Our client supplies Construction Companies with Structural Steel either from their stocked items such as Angle Iron, RHS (Rectangular Hollow Steel) and SHS (Square Hollow Steel). They also can Custom Fabricate to client’s specification structural steel such as T-Bars, H Beams / Universal Beams and Corner Angles.
The Role
As the finance officer, you will be responsible for managing debtor and creditor processes, statutory compliance, internal financial reporting and payroll. The role has some administrative support requirements such as software transitions, stock control, and system management. Our clients accounting system is Reckon.
- Processing Customer Invoicing
- Manage Credit Applications and Approvals
- Management and collection of overdue accounts
- Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reporting
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Payroll and PAYG, Superannuation and Payroll Tax
- Adhoc Administration
- Working Days: Three days per week – Wednesday – Friday preferable
- Working Hours: 8am – 4pm (flexible)
The Candidate
We are seeking a candidate that has worked in a similar role as an Accounts/Finance Officer for at least 1 year. At least 6 months experience using Reckon. Possess Excellent Numeracy Skills. Intermediate to advanced Excel, Word & Outlook experience. Excellent Computer Skills especially in picking up new software applications.

Remuneration
This is a Temporary to Permanent role where you will be working through Staff-Net on a casual basis for 3 to 6 months.
$42.00 to $45.00 Per Hour
