About the role
Metro North Hospital Health(MNH) delivers care to a local population of over one million people, in an area stretching from the Brisbane River to north of Kilcoy. It also provides specialty services for patients travelling from throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory
The Clinical Director Metro North Health Virtual Ward is an exciting role which has been developed to contribute to the delivery of healthcare in new and innovative ways as part of the pioneering Virtual Hospital Program. This program enables the provision of safe patient care in a clinical environment which supports staff education, research and professional development.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
* Provide professional and clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team.
* Take a key strategic leadship role in the further development and expansion of the Virtual Ward to facilitate its scope encompassing multiple disciplines and specialty clinical area.
* High-performance. Deliver exceptional quality care to patients to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
* Provide specialist clinical services for patients of Metro North Health Virtual Ward within Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) and ensure clinical consultation referrals where required including for obstetric and paediatric patients.
