At our company, we believe that in-person collaboration fuels innovation, strengthens relationships, and cultivates a dynamic culture where careers flourish. Our current in-office schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, providing opportunities for meaningful connections and teamwork. Starting September 1, 2025, we will expand our in-office presence to Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional work-from-home day, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong office culture. Business Contribution:
Responsible for the assistance to the financial (incl. monthly close) process as required by US GAAP / ETG financial procedures for designated Korea entity, in accordance with
corporate reporting deadlines. Responsible for key internal / SOX process controls as laid down by internal / external audit. Furthermore, to develop and maintain the management reporting for the Korea region as required by the Korean management team / Korea Finance Leader. Working intensively together with the financial controller.
What you will do:
1 General Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries in ERP (UNIERP)
- Process payments and accounts receivable collections (AR, AP)
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
2 Statutory Reporting
- Assist with VAT filings and support the preparation of corporate income tax reports
3 Bank Reconciliation
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank balances and resolve discrepancies
4 Month-End Closing Support
- Assist in the timely completion of monthly closing activities and financial reports
5 Expense Management
- Review and process employee expense claims
- Provide guidance to employees on accounting policies and procedures
6 HR Support
- Handle social insurance reporting and other HR-related administrative tasks
7 Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth and efficient task execution across departments
8 Administrative Support
- Assist with various administrative duties and tasks as assigned
What makes you an ideal candidate:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Above 3 years of relevant work experience
3. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
4. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is a plus
5. English proficiency (Reading and writing) required to support internal communication and documentation (TOEIC score of 800 or above, or an equivalent level on other standardized tests)
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
