The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Divisional Finance Manager to lead the finance operations across five Australian entities (three trading and two holding). Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role is pivotal in overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, business partnering, and driving operational efficiencies to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
* Lead forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling for strategic planning.
* Manage statutory compliance, including audits, corporate tax, and Work Cover returns.
* Ensure compliance with TEQSA, HITS, TPS, and other regulatory reporting obligations.
* Act as the key financial business partner to divisional leadership.
* Maintain and enhance financial controls and reporting processes.
* Oversee student tuition collection, agent commissions, and credit control.
* Lead the finance team and manage the ongoing migration to Sage Intacct.
* Support governance requirements, including board and audit committee reporting.
About You
* Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred).
* Extensive management accounting, forecasting, and statutory reporting experience.
* Strong analytical skills, particularly with Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros).
* Excellent technical accounting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams.
* Education sector experience and familiarity with financial regulatory requirements (highly desirable).

* Eligibility to serve as a Company Secretary.
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
