* Great Benefits and Perks
* Ongoing Training and Development
* Join one of Australia's prestigious and luxury automotive groups
Autosports Group (ASG) is a large, listed retail automotive group representing the world's greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands (Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Volkswagen, Bentley, Ducati, Audi, BMW and more). Currently with over 2500 employees across 75 Dealerships in NSW, QLD, VIC and NZ.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Compliance Officer to join our Legal team, reporting to the Head of Risk.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Compliance Officer to lead the day-to-day operation of our compliance framework, with a focus on regulatory obligations, controls, monitoring and reporting, and be the key compliance contact for regulatory engagements and internal audit activities.
You'll work closely with teams across the business to bring policies and frameworks to life, manage compliance issues and investigations and coordinate the closure of internal audit recommendations.
We're a flat, fast-moving organisation — so while you'll be involved in shaping and designing compliance initiatives, this role is also hands-on. You'll roll up your sleeves and get things done. We're not a big team, but we achieve a lot — and you'll gain broad exposure across the business and have real impact
It's a great role for someone who's comfortable working with both front line teams and senior leaders, likes variety, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
About You
You are an experienced compliance professional who combines technical know-how with a pragmatic solutions focussed approach. You are confident in interpreting regulatory requirements but can also make them relevant in a business setting.
You bring:
* Experience in compliance, risk or regulatory roles – ideally within an ASX listed company
* A sound understanding of the Australian Credit Licence Framework and ASIC expectations
* A structured approach to managing obligations, policies, controls and monitoring
* Familiarity with managing internal audits and tracking audit recommendations
* Ability to lead issue management and investigations, with a focus on root cause and resolution
* Strong written skills and problem-solving experience with strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
