While primarily a water and sewerage provider, it also invests in electricity and gas through private partnerships, operating across both government and commercial sectors. The Opportunity
This is a newly created role within the Finance Business Partnering team, offering genuine breadth across the organisation. You'll have the opportunity to support all business groups (including Infrastructure Services, Digital Technology, and Corporate) giving you a well‐rounded view of how the organisation operates.

The Role
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
* Support management reporting and financial analysis activities
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of key files
* Contribute financial data to business cases, initiatives and investment proposals
* Prepare and enter financial data for contracts within the ERP system
* Provide guidance to stakeholders on raising and managing Purchase Orders
* Process invoices and liaise with approvers to ensure timely receipting and payment
* Respond to internal finance queries and support stakeholder understanding of processes
* Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with financial procedures
* Maintain data integrity and uphold strong data governance practices within the ERP system
The Ideal Person
You'll likely hold a degree in accounting or finance and have around 1–2 years of experience behind you. Perhaps you're currently with a consulting firm or in tax and business services and are ready to sink your teeth into a single organisation, or you may already have some commercial experience.
More than anything, we're looking for someone with a curious mind who asks good questions and isn't afraid to dig into the detail. You'll be confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels, comfortable working in Excel, and open to picking up new systems as you go.
Salary / Rate
The salary band starts at $89,046 + 15% Super.
