It also seeks to reduce the incidence of serious injury resulting from road crashes. The Road Safety team manages Victoria's road safety camera network and is a representative for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) in Victoria's road safety partnership. Road Safety contributes to this partnership in the operation of road safety cameras, and the policy and strategic directions of the broader road safety enforcement. Road Safety is accountable to the Minister for Police and the Office of the Road Safety Camera Commissioner. About the Role: The Senior Project Officer will provide guidance to support the senior project in the management of road safety camera projects. The Senior Project Officer will provide, develop deliver, and manage artefacts relating to change management, project governance, reporting requirements and quality assurance of finished artefacts relating to systems and network-based security systems throughout the procurement and delivery cycle, and where appropriate plan. Some of your duties will include: * Working with a variety of stakeholder groups and third party providers. * Developing, delivering, and managing the writing of briefs, change proposals, project documents and other deliverables. * Co-ordinating, reviewing, and critiquing third party deliverables during procurement and delivery and engage with third parties. About You: To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate: * The ability in understanding camera equipment, construction, testing and hand over for enforcement processes under the Victorian Road Safety Camera Program. * Experience in the delivery of project artefacts for technical infrastructure projects, within a Road Safety or similar environment. * Experience in presenting project proposals to key stakeholders for decision making. Qualifications: * An appropriate tertiary qualification is desirable. * Relevant project management experience is highly desirable. * Membership of a professional Project Management body (i.e., AIPM, PMI) is desirable.
