The Asset Management Lead plays a crucial role in providing asset management guidance, leadership, and advice to implement, maintain, and improve Austal's asset management system.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert guidance and leadership in asset management across SSA, ensuring alignment with ISO 55001 standards and strategic objectives.
* Maintaining consistent application of the Asset Management Framework across SSA and supporting partners, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
* Promoting collaboration across SSA to support integrated asset management practices and continuous improvement.
* Developing and implementing Asset Management Plans, processes, and systems to support lifecycle management across the Shipbuilding value chain.
* Designing and delivering asset management training programs to build awareness and capability across the organisation.
* Leading data analytics, modelling, and simulation efforts to evaluate asset performance, identify efficiencies, and support decision-making.
* Driving risk and opportunity management, strategic change initiatives, and business improvement activities related to asset management.
* Identifying and pursuing asset-focused business opportunities, and supporting estimating activities through structured business case development.
