Key Responsibilities
* Leading the planning and delivery of strategic projects and transformation initiatives
* Driving stakeholder engagement across business, technical, and executive teams
* Identifying business needs and opportunities through deep analysis and insight
* Translating complex business problems into clear, actionable solutions and specifications
* Leading workshops, eliciting and refining requirements, and validating solutions
* Mentoring and supporting other Business Analysts to build capability and consistency
* Designing and documenting processes, workflows, and solution architecture
* Using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to support delivery and governance
* Championing continuous improvement and best practice within the BA community
What experience you'll bring
* 5–8 years' experience as a Business Analyst (1–2 years at senior level), ideally with exposure to agile large‐scale or enterprise‐level projects
* Proven ability to lead complex, cross‐functional initiatives
* Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
* Advanced stakeholder management and influencing abilities
* Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Protected, or hybrid)
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills
* Deep experience in one or more domains: risk & compliance, digital, transformation, operations, or IT
* Proficient in business process modelling (As‐Is/To‐Be), user story development, and data analysis
* Experience in regulated industries (insurance, finance, health, etc.) is highly regarded
* Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
* BA certifications (e.g. ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, Agile AAC)
* Familiarity with APRA regulations and risk identification is a plus
