Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

* A minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care;

* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);

* Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care;

* A current National Police Certificate;

* Strong clinical and documentation skills;

* An understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Compile comprehensive histories from residents and family members to identify care needs;

2. Maintain accurate documentation of care delivery;

3. Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans;

4. Administer medications as required, following correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures;

5. Assist with direct clinical care of residents, including personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management, and GP rounds.
