Senior Advisor - Enterprise RiskAustralia Be the First to ApplyJob DescriptionAbout the Role The Senior Advisor - Enterprise Risk will be responsible for driving the implementation and continuous improvement of the enterprise risk management framework, associated policies, processes and systems across Fremantle Ports, ensuring they remain contemporary and fit for purpose.
Additionally, the Senior Advisor - Enterprise Risk will provide support and advice for the effective management of risk across Fremantle Ports, including consultation with General Managers and Managers and function groups to identify and monitor key risk exposures.
Key duties include: Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and associated policies and procedures/systems.
Develop and embed processes and systems to identify, evaluate and address emerging risk.
Ensure the regular monitoring and reporting of risk and associated activities in line with the ERM Framework.
Support risk owners for timely reviews of risks and associated actions.
Maintain the ERM system including administration, configuration management and risk data management.
Support the development of effective strategies for the management of enterprise risk activities.
Provision of ERM advice to senior leadership team and function managers on the management of risks across the business.
Lead the development, maintenance and delivery of the Enterprise Risk Management Training program.
Prepare appropriate Board, Audit and Risk Committee and Executive Leadership Team reports, including performance dashboards as required.
Build and leverage relationships across the business to develop and implement ERM improvement initiatives.
Essential Criteria Tertiary qualification (Business, Commerce, Engineering, Risk Management or other relevant academic degree).
Understanding of risk management frameworks and relevant standards' including ISO 31000.
10+ years' experience developing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management frameworks. Strategic thinker with the ability to align risk management practices with business objectives.
An understanding of risk in operational and project environments.
Experience in developing and delivering risk management education programs.
Experience in establishing and maintaining enterprise risk management reporting software systems / solutions.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people in risk management.
Experience in risk workshop facilitation. Demonstrated levels of commercial / business acumen. Excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to identify issues and solve problems. Desirable Industry specific experience, including exposure to critical infrastructure and logistics. Experience of development and implementation of control assurance frameworks, and the CGR Foundation application.
