Position Description
We are seeking a dedicated Service Centre Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. You will play a critical role for coordinating all activities within their assigned service center, delivering positive operational performance results, and leading & coordinating the operations teams, primarily made up of technicians. The role has direct responsibility for Customer service delivery and the coordination and facilitation of core operations activities in the service centers. This role will lead and manage technicians and coordinate the preparation and repair of Aggreko equipment.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
· Service execution delivery to customer service levels
· Accountable for technician supervision & deployment through scheduling
· Enforces standards, executes objectives & holds team accountable
· Ensures optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development and corrective action.
· Manages all aspects of their team along with the Regional Ops Leader.
· Maintains staffing to shop & field technician deployment guidelines
· Ensures maintenance, availability & reliability of fleet for deployment.
· Ensures accuracy of Fleet Readiness, Utilization, and inventory
· Accountable for the appropriate & timely deployment of fleet and staff.
· Executes National Logistics & other areas Equipment Transfer requests & ensure equipment is 'green carded' & functional at time of deployment.
· Responsible for Fleet test and turn
· Manages Fleet repairs & improvements related to fleet quality & reliability
· Accountable for completion of PM servicing & oil sampling
· Accountable for Parts supply and core returns, as well as service material costs by budget or KPI
· Drives business standards & cost controls to ensure profitability
· Inventory variances
About You
To be successful in obtaining this role, you will have:
· Minimum 5 years of prior experience in team leadership related disciplines within the renewable energy & construction industry.
· Exceptional communication skills
· Knowledge and understanding of the constraints affecting the renewable energy industry in Australia and New Zealand.
· Knowledge of fundamental project management systems and procedures in the construction industry.
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration.
· Ideally an engineering degree or related discipline as background.
· Experience in delivery of hybrid power projects is advantageous.
