 
        
        * Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
 * Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and rescheduling as necessary.
 * Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients.
 * Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
 * Maintain medical records accurately and efficiently.
 * Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments.
 * Maintain reception area tidy, support doctors and practice manager with any additional administrative duties.
 * Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, faxing, and data entry.
 * Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Selection Criteria:
 * Previous experience as a medical secretary or in a similar role is highly desirable.
 * Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
 * Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
 * Proficiency and ability to learn medical terminology, billing procedures
 * Experience using Best practice software
 * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
 * Medical transcription and typing skills desired
 * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
 * A friendly and professional demeanour, with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
