PR and Communications Manager
The PR and Communication Manager is responsible for developing effective PR and communication strategies to drive awareness of Hitachi Data Systems and our offerings. This role supports our vision of creating a better world through social innovation technologies.
Key Areas of Ownership and Responsibility
1. External Communications
1. Public Relations
2. Develop a public relations plan with the agency
3. Enhance share of voice in the ANZ market
4. Develop thought leadership articles
5. Develop customer references and case studies
6. Ensure adherence to brand strategy and style
7. eNewsletters
8. Website content management
9. Social media strategy
10. Identify platforms and messages for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Blogs
2. Internal Communications
1. Monthly customer newsletter
2. Quarterly ANZ business newsletter
3. Management team communications plan
4. Internal success stories
Requirements
1. At least 5 years of marketing and communications experience
2. Solid relationships with media, journalists, and analysts
3. Awareness of the PR landscape and media process
4. Understanding of the IT industry
5. Familiarity with CRM and CMS tools
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines
7. Effective communication skills
8. Strong inter-departmental relationship skills
9. High degree of commitment and responsibility
