Position: General Practitioner, MM3 & DPA
Location: Armidale, NSW
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join a busy team in Armidale, NSW. This position is open to both Australian and overseas trained doctors who hold a specialist general practice qualification recognised by the RACGP.
As a General Practitioner in Armidale, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and families in the Armidale community. You will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including nurses, allied health practitioners, and support staff, to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting consultations with patients to assess and diagnose medical conditions
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists
- Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Providing health education and preventative care advice to patients
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients
- Participating in practice meetings and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or ability to gain this
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
