About the Role
To support the Processing function, we are seeking an experienced, capable Process Technician / Lab Technician to join our busy team. The role contributes to optimised performance of fixed plant operations by safely operating plant components such as feeders, crushers, conveyors, mills, CIP tanks, pumps, slurry flows, sampling, reagents and other equipment and mobile plant in production activities to the standard of competency required to operate alone in full production conditions. This role will also work across the site Lab, assisting in daily sample prep work.
About You
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a gold processing plant and be able to independently and safely operate crushers, ore transfer conveyers, mills, cyclones, thickeners & CIP circuits as well of an understanding of water and tailings management. Your experience assisting with elution and gold room sections and the ability to operate Scada control systems will be highly regarded.
