About the Role:
MPK are currently seeking a Junior Surveyor to join our team working on one of our projects located in the Surat Basin on a 19:9 roster. Reporting to the Lead Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting all survey operations across the project. You will work closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams to ensure all survey data is accurate, timely, and aligned with project specification. Specifically, responsibilities will include:
* Being a point of contact for any sub-contracted survey scope, if the need arises
* Assist with planning and executing survey strategies in line with project requirements
* Conducting field surveys including topographic, construction, and as-built surveys
* Preparing detailed survey reports, maps, and data sets for project use
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Liaising with project engineers, clients, and subcontractors
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying
* Exposure to Trimble GPS equipment, TBC, CAD, and ArcGIS packages (desirable)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels
* Desire to work within a supportive team, display great drive and job focus
* Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & MSP
* Ability to work 19:9 roster in client supplied operational camp
