About the role
We are seeking a motivated Tradesman/ 4th Year Apprentice at KGR Refrigeration as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Based in Sydney, NSW, this position offers hands-on technical work in the field, providing you with the opportunity to apply your expertise and make a meaningful impact.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration, air conditioning systems, and ice machines (training on ice machines available if needed)
* Conduct routine maintenance to optimise system performance and prevent potential issues
* Install, inspect, and service air conditioning and refrigeration units as required
* Keep detailed and accurate records of all work completed
* Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations
What we're looking for
* Holds a formal qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., Certificate III)
* Has at least 3 years of experience as a refrigeration technician (4th-year apprentices and above welcome to apply)
* Possesses strong technical expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
* Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Prioritises safety and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Communicates effectively with both customers and team members
* Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
