Platform Engineering Lead
The organization seeks a Platform Engineering Lead to deliver high-quality digital platforms and scalable solutions. This senior leadership role oversees the platform engineering function, ensuring seamless service delivery across the organization.
Key responsibilities include leading the product engineering portfolio, driving delivery of outcome-focused digital services, and partnering with senior leadership to set strategy and execute business-aligned technology plans.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including service delivery, financial oversight, and issue resolution.
* Define and measure KPIs for digital platforms, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
* Build team capability through recruitment, retention, coaching, and professional development.
* Promote agile product-centric delivery models and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
* Champion adoption of emerging technologies, cloud, streaming, AI/ML, automation through POCs and technical showcases.
* Establish financial discipline, balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
About You
We're looking for an accomplished technology leader who can combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery. You'll bring:
* 7+ years in senior technology leadership roles within complex corporate environments.
* Proven success building and scaling product and platform engineering teams.
* Deep expertise in digital platforms integration, API platforms, automation, and operations.
* Strong software engineering background – ideally with AWS, AEM, GIT, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, or equivalent; Java, JMS, Spring Boot, Jenkins, Tomcat, Apache, REST, SOAP, WSDLs, AJAX.
* Experience shaping technology operating models and governance across agile and waterfall environments.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – able to simplify complexity and influence at the executive level.
* A track record of leading technology functions through large-scale transformation.
