Join to apply for the Senior Policy Officer - Chemicals role at Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.The Senior Policy Officer - Chemicals plays a key advisory and leadership role in regulating agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical use in Victoria. The successful candidate will work effectively as part of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements, and undertake a variety of tasks across the division, including developing and leading policy and legislation for chemical regulation. The role serves as a key contact on chemical use legislation and policy for biosecurity staff and the broader department, interacting across the Agriculture Victoria Group and establishing networks with external stakeholders, inter-government agencies, and other parties.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsA relevant tertiary qualification is highly desired.This is an ongoing position.
