Redpath Partners is currently working with a well-respected client-side consultancy in Melbourne who is looking for a Project Manager to join their team and work closely with a leading tertiary education provider in Melbourne to deliver a program of electrification works in the southeastern suburbs.
* Salary between $120,000 - $160,000 Package.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile program of electrification projects across a live, operational campus environment. You will be instrumental in delivering a wide range of initiatives from major refurbishments to new-builds and infrastructure upgrades with values up to $100 million.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects including new buildings, refurbishments, infrastructure upgrades, and fitouts.
* Drive sustainability outcomes including energy efficiency upgrades and electrification initiatives aligned with institutional goals.
* Oversee the full project lifecycle from early feasibility through to practical completion with a strong focus on compliance and minimal disruption to operations.
* Build trusted working relationships with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and internal teams through clear and proactive communication.
* Manage budgets, tendering, contract negotiation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Provide accurate reporting, manage risk registers, and ensure adherence to codes, standards, and environmental obligations.
* Foster a collaborative and solutions-focused environment across all project contributors.
Experience/Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering capital works projects in operational environments such as education, health, cultural, or civic infrastructure.
* Knowledge of both refurbishments and new builds, with an understanding of how to manage complexity with minimal operational impact.
* Leadership & Communication Skills to guide diverse project teams and engage a broad stakeholder base with empathy and professionalism.
* Expertise with hands-on experience in procurement, contract administration, budgeting, and financial control.
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, meet deadlines, and proactively navigate challenges.
* Technical experience in areas like electrification, building services upgrades, or precinct infrastructure (desirable but not essential).
* Proven strong written and verbal skills and the ability to confidently engage with senior leadership.
* A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
* A sound understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance frameworks in the Australian context.
