Peakfresh is the largest producer of compostable bags and films in Australia. We are at the forefront of replacing traditional plastics with compostable alternatives. Due to rapid growth we are seeking an experienced blown film operator to join our production team based at Netley. We pride ourselves on working as a team across all levels of the business in an environment where mutual respect is essential.
Qualifications & experience
* Experience in blown film extrusion
* Single Layer & Co-Ex extrusion experience will be highly regarded
* Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with well-developed problem solving and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work both independently and also co-operatively as part of a successful team
Tasks & responsibilities
* Operating the extrusion lines to ensure product complies with quality and performance standards
* Maintaining quality records including taking samples and inspecting products
* Troubleshooting faults and identifying causes of manufacturing defects
* Identifying, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Availability
We are seeking an immediate starter, must be available for Afternoon shift with flexibility for other shifts desirable.
