Regional Corporate Services is offering an opportunity for an Accountant to join our finance team, working with a group of privately owned companies across diverse industries. This full-function finance role provides room for growth, variety, and scope, including:
1. Full accounts receivable management, including customer credit analysis
2. Full accounts payable management
3. End-of-month processing duties
4. Assisting with internal reporting, budgeting, and accounting policies
5. Preparing statutory obligations such as BAS / IAS
6. Monthly financial reporting for various Group entities
7. Liaising with external tax advisors to ensure accuracy of financial reports
8. Other general accounting and administrative functions as required
The ideal candidate will have:
1. At least 3 years of experience in general accounting and administrative duties
2. Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
3. Interest in obtaining CA / CPA status
4. Excellent communication skills, including telephone etiquette
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
6. Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive attitude
7. Ability to work independently
8. Willingness to assist wherever needed
