Aboriginal Community Engagement Lead Role Overview
This leadership role focuses on strategic Aboriginal community engagement expertise to support infrastructure projects and Operations and Maintenance activities within the Aboriginal Communities Water Services (ACWS) program. Key stakeholders must be effectively communicated with, community concerns addressed, and positive outcomes fostered for Aboriginal communities.
* The position will lead a team in developing and delivering stakeholder and Aboriginal community engagement strategies, activities, and resources that support the ACWS program of work.
* Engagement initiatives will drive business outcomes while involving diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* High-quality communications and engagement resources will be developed and delivered to ensure they are accessible, inclusive, and tailored to diverse audiences.
* Multidisciplinary collaboration will be facilitated to enhance community and stakeholder relationships and outcomes.
* The organisation will be represented as required in stakeholder forums, community meetings, and engagement activities, ensuring captured feedback is integrated into project planning and delivery.
* A customer-focused culture will be promoted across the organisation by embedding Aboriginal engagement principles into service delivery.
