Chalfont is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Federal Government Client's strategic team dedicated to shaping the next generation of digital capability within the public sector. In this role, you won't just be managing a backlog; you will be a career partner for talent and a strategic force for our clients.
The Role
As a Product Owner, you are the bridge between strategy and execution, using insight to guide good decisions and help teams succeed. You will advocate for backlog prioritisation that aligns with both business and technology strategy while ensuring the Scrum Team delivers customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Collaboration: Partner with business representatives and stakeholders to develop solutions that show a deep understanding of audience needs.
* Backlog Leadership: Manage the product backlog and support the architectural runway, ensuring every release considers user impact.
* Future-Focused Planning: Develop product roadmaps that articulate how products will mature, helping the organisation prepare for what is coming next.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Actively collect and integrate continuous feedback to refine Agile Release Train objectives.
About You
We are looking for a confident, human-centric leader who backs their decisions with experience and results. You are upfront and honest, setting clear expectations and following through.
Your Experience:
* Proven Track Record: 3+ years of experience in a similar Product Owner or Agile leadership role.
* Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Digital Service Standard.
* Certified Expertise: Relevant qualifications in Product Ownership or related Agile/SAFe certifications.
* Ambitious Mindset: A drive for the best outcomes and a belief in what is possible through action-oriented leadership.
