As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you'll be a flexible, team-oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences.
About Goodstart Golden Square:
* Goodstart Golden Square is located in a quiet residential area that is close to local shops, schools, sporting facilities and bus services.
* The centre is a 135-place centre with 8 rooms.
* At Goodstart Golden Square, our team is passionate about inclusion; we welcome all children’s support teams into our centre and attend team meetings to ensure a holistic approach towards your child’s goals.
You’ll achieve this by:
* Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
* Engaging and supervising the children at all times
* Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members
* Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
* Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
* Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

If you hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, are willing to travel between other local services, and will have flexible availability between Monday-Friday.
You’ll need:
* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Current Victorian Working with Children Check
