Job Title
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of the office.
Key duties include:
1. Managing the Senator's diary, including sitting weeks, committees, and stakeholders.
2. Booking travel arrangements for the Senator and Portfolio Leads.
3. Preparing agendas and itineraries for meetings and events.
4. Processing claims and monitoring budget and expenditure.
5. Managing public email inbox and responding to follow-up items.
6. Filing and maintaining records and reconciling electorate expenses.
7. Ordering printing and stationery supplies.
8. Coordinating mailouts and external communications.
9. Maintaining confidentiality and security of files and documents.
10. Ensuring a safe, respectful, and clean workspace.
11. Overseeing daily office functions and handling incoming calls.
The ideal applicant should possess strong organizational skills, be able to work under pressure, and have excellent communication skills.
