We are seeking a Product Delivery Engineer to lead product initiatives from concept to production. The ideal candidate will translate operational needs into scalable solutions, deliver high-quality code, and maintain existing systems while responding to production issues.

Responsibilities
* Own product initiatives end-to-end, from initial problem definition through to production release
* Translate operational needs and product requirements into clear, buildable solutions
* Make pragmatic delivery decisions to balance speed, quality, and system performance
* Take responsibility for outcomes, not just implementation
* Design, implement, test, and ship production-ready code in a live, real-time environment
* Maintain and improve existing production systems, including handling fixes and data corrections
* Respond effectively to production issues and operational incidents
* Ensure changes are validated and deployed safely, with consideration for impact on live systems and data
* Use AI tools as a core part of daily development to accelerate feature scaffolding and prototyping, refactoring and code improvement, debugging and root‐cause analysis as well as documentation and handover.
* Apply sound judgment when using AI-generated output, validating correctness, performance, and safety before release
* Collaborate with operations and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet real-world needs
* Communicate clearly about progress, trade‐offs, and risks
* Contribute to improving delivery consistency and engineering practices
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering production software as a software engineer
* Ability to own features end-to-end, from design through to deployment and support
* Strong development, debugging and problem‐solving skills
* Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs
* Working knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
* Familiarity with cloud‐hosted systems and operational concerns such as performance, reliability, and monitoring
* Hands‐on experience using AI tools to accelerate software delivery, including code generation and scaffolding, refactoring and code improvement, debugging and analysis
* Ability to validate, test, and take responsibility for AI-assisted output
* Comfortable working with ambiguous or fast‐changing requirements
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes
* Ability to balance speed, quality, and risk in a real‐time environment
* Clear communication with technical and non‐technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
* Experience supporting real‐time or operationally critical systems
* Exposure to data‐intensive or analytics‐driven applications
* Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
