About the role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire recruitment process and be involved in business development activities to expand our client base and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
In addition to more 'typical' recruitment activities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and / or enhance their skills in scribing government recruitment processes. Scribing involves documenting and managing the recruitment process, including taking detailed notes at interviews and panel debriefs, conducting reference checks, and preparing well-written and defensible selection reports. This role will also involve working on-site with our government clients.
Duties
Your responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to :
Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including posting job ads, interviewing candidates, liaising with clients, reference checking and negotiating contract terms
Assisting with government recruitment processes, scribing and report writing
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates, and providing exceptional customer service
Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and develop strategies to attract new clients
Managing databases and performing administrative tasks
Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum 12 months' experience in 360-degree recruitment / labour hire, with a passion for business development. Experience within the government space and / or an understanding of the APS is highly desirable.
