Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Centre Manager to join our Bossley Park leadership team.

* Assistant Centre Manager – Teacher or Diploma Qualified.
* Educational Leader – Teacher or Diploma Qualified.
These positions are full-time roles – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am – 6 pm.
About the Roles
As an Assistant Centre Manager at Young Academics, you will assist with daily operations and leadership of the centre, working closely with the Centre Manager to deliver outstanding outcomes. Your leadership will guide the team, ensure compliance, support high‐quality programmes, and build strong relationships with families and the wider community.
You will support meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. Service compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child‐safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will collaborate with staff to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children's wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.

As the Educational Leader, you will lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of our educational programmes while mentoring and developing a team of dedicated educators. Your leadership will help guide quality practice in line with the National Quality Framework and ensure that our programmes are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and inclusive of all children.
Your expertise will directly influence children's learning outcomes, build a strong, knowledgeable team, and contribute to our continuous quality improvement journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide operational and leadership support to the Centre Manager and broader team.
* Contribute to daily compliance, audits, and centre checklists to maintain safety and quality.
* Assist in the mentoring and development of educators through coaching, supervision and ongoing feedback.
* Build strong relationships with families, managing communication and feedback promptly and professionally.
* Monitor learning environments, classroom displays and resources to ensure alignment with Young Academics' standards.
* Build strong partnerships with the local community.
* Assist with managing budgets, occupancy, rostering, and administrative tasks efficiently to optimise the centre's performance.
* Demonstrate a strong attention to detail in keeping accurate records and evaluating programmes.
* Guide processes and systems within the centre, adhering to the ECA Code of Ethics, specifically experience with OWNA or willingness to learn.
* Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements.
About You
* Advocate for Early Childhood and for Young Academics Early Learning Centre.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience leading and managing an Early Learning Centre.
* Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* Child Protection Certificate from the NSW Department of Education.
* Commitment to upholding a Child Safe Organisation and inclusive practices.
* Maintain Mandatory National Child Safety Training.
