The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Travel Advisor to convert inbound digital travel enquiries into confirmed cruise and fly–stay–cruise bookings, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This role manages enquiries generated through online chat, website forms, email and inbound phone calls. You will guide customers through the entire booking journey, from first contact through to confirmation, providing expert advice, competitive pricing and personalised recommendations.
You will take ownership of your own enquiry pipeline, maintain strong follow-up discipline and achieve agreed revenue and conversion targets in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment.
Some of the things you will be involved in:
* Managing inbound enquiries across digital and phone channels with speed, professionalism and attention to detail
* Responding within agreed SLAs to maximise conversion opportunities
* Qualifying customer needs and providing tailored cruise and holiday recommendations
* Building complete cruise, fly–stay–cruise and value-added holiday packages
* Preparing accurate quotes and following up consistently to drive conversion
* Managing the full booking process from enquiry through to confirmation
* Promoting and upselling value-added products including flights, accommodation, transfers, insurance and upgrades
* Maintaining accurate CRM notes and active pipeline management
* Achieving agreed individual revenue, conversion and activity targets
* Delivering exceptional service that drives repeat and referral business
We are looking for you to bring:
* Proven experience in travel sales (cruise experience preferred)
* Cruise industry knowledge and experience packaging fly–stay–cruise holidays (preferred)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience managing inbound leads across digital and phone channels
* The ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously without losing momentum
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in quoting and booking
* Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and conversion targets
* Excellent organisational skills and disciplined follow-up habits
* Experience working in a CRM-driven sales environment
* An understanding of upselling and value-based selling principles
