Forest Management Branch has four main programs: Forest Assessment and Monitoring, Systems and Decision Support, Forest Operations Planning and Disturbance Approval System (DAS).As Manager Forest Management Branch you will manage your team at an advanced professional level, under limited direction and using independent judgement. You will be responsible for implementation of native forest policy including strategic and operational planning for ecological thinning, natural resource assessment and reporting, modelling and decision support systems, leading professional and support staff, and providing key policy and technical advice on ecologically sustainable forest management.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
