We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Specialist in Procurement Site Engineering Projects. This role will provide functional support to WAIO Site Engineering for the successful delivery of their projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Procurement Site Engineering Projects team to plan, implement and manage the procurement of contracts according to the approved strategy. This includes developing execution strategies, undertaking sourcing, executing new contracts and managing contract variations compliant with our Charter, Code of Conduct, Global Standards and Functional Level Requirements.
Key accountabilities include:
* Developing execution strategies and selecting commercial pricing models
* Drafting high-quality tender and contract documents
* Influencing the selection of procurement strategies
* Providing contract management support to project teams
* Monitoring and reporting on contractor and contract performance
* Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
* Ensuring consistency and performance against projects and commercial KPIs

Requirements:
* Experience in procurement in construction projects
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying/procurement, engineering, business or law
* Commercial outlook and judgment
* Collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills
* Ability to build constructive relationships
* Autonomy, detail orientation, organisation and objectivity
* Written and oral communication skills
